Habitat for Humanity

Bercher Homes has been integrally involved for years in volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Metro Atlanta, which is based near our office and serves Cobb, Douglas, and Paulding county families with their services. Dale Bercher has served on the Board of Directors of this amazing organization since 2018 and is currently serving as Chairman of the Board. “We are so grateful for Dale and his humble servant heart and leadership,” said Jessica Gill, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of NW Metro Atlanta. “His construction knowledge and willingness to serve continues to be an incredible asset to our organization.”

WHY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY?

Making a real difference

It makes sense that a home-building company would team up with a home-building nonprofit. We’ve got the skills and know-how that naturally fit, but we’ve also seen firsthand how Habitat changes lives, not just for individuals but for the community. We’re passionate about this cause and fully committed to it because we’ve also seen many families become first-time homeowners through the program and establish generational wealth for their children. This is the reason Bercher Homes chose to partner with Habitat – it’s a hand up, not a handout, truly making a lasting impact in families’ lives.

You can make a difference too!

Whether you donate goods to the Habitat ReStore in Smyrna, where 100% of profits support Habitat’s mission of building homes; make a financial contribution, or volunteer your time to work on a Habitat build, every contribution makes a difference. Your generosity enables Habitat to continue its vital work of providing safe and affordable housing to those in need, empowering individuals and families to build better futures. If you're interested in volunteering with Bercher Homes on our next build project, we'd love to have you join us! Please feel free to reach out directly to inquire about volunteer opportunities. Together, we can change the lives of others and strengthen our communities for generations to come!
