After 21 years working for larger, “corporate-type” home-building companies, Dale Bercher followed his heart’s desire to better serve others by building high-quality homes on his own terms and founded Bercher Homes in 2010. Since then, the company has expanded with a team of like-minded professionals, all motivated to develop fulfilling relationships with clients. The Golden Rule is a belief that we talk about, believe in, and are committed to at Bercher Homes.

Bercher Homes has been integrally involved for years in volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Metro Atlanta, which is based near our office and serves Cobb, Douglas, and Paulding county families with their services. Dale Bercher has served on the Board of Directors of this amazing organization since 2018 and is currently serving as Chairman of the Board. “We are so grateful for Dale and his humble servant heart and leadership,” said Jessica Gill, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of NW Metro Atlanta. “His construction knowledge and willingness to serve continues to be an incredible asset to our organization.”

We’ve got the skills and know-how that naturally fit, but we’ve also seen firsthand how Habitat changes lives, not just for individuals but for the community. We’re passionate about this cause and fully committed to it because we’ve also seen many families become first-time homeowners through the program and establish generational wealth for their children. This is the reason Bercher Homes chose to partner with Habitat – it’s a hand up, not a handout, truly making a lasting impact in families’ lives.

Beyond the physical labor, Dale's commitment extends to his roles as a member of the Board of Directors since 2018 and as the current Chairman of the Board. Dale is passionate about making informed decisions that steer the organization in the right direction, ensuring its continued growth and impact within the community. In addition to our work on Habitat home builds, Bercher Homes also sponsors special events Habitat hosts to raise more funds for their mission, such as the Harmonies for Homes concert. We enjoy opportunities like this to bring the team together outside the work environment as well!
